For patients
Does Prvi termin cost anything?
No. Search, waiting lists, appointment requests and appointment alerts are free for patients. You pay for the treatment directly to the clinic at its prices.
How do I request an appointment?
Search for an examination and a city, open the clinic and fill in the “Request appointment” form. Clinics without online requests can be reached by the phone number in their profile.
Find an appointmentIs my appointment booked now?
No. The request is non-binding. An appointment exists only once the clinic confirms it. We tell you about the clinic’s reply by e-mail, which also contains the link to your request’s status.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Directly with the clinic, by phone or e-mail. The contact details are in the clinic profile and in the confirmation e-mail. Please cancel in good time so another patient can take the slot.
Where do the waiting times come from?
Waiting times in the public system are based on publicly available HZZO data and may differ from the actual situation. Clinics maintain their private appointments themselves.
Waiting listsWhat does “Free with referral” mean?
With a referral (uputnica) from your family doctor, the examination in the public system is free for HZZO-insured patients, but often with a wait. At a private clinic you pay yourself and usually get an appointment sooner.
Learn moreWhat is the appointment alert and how do I unsubscribe?
You receive an e-mail as soon as an earlier appointment for your examination becomes available in your city. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click on the link in every e-mail.
Who can write reviews?
Only patients whose appointment was confirmed through Prvi termin. After the visit you receive an invitation by e-mail. We check every review before publishing it.
I am coming from abroad. Does the clinic speak my language?
Many clinics treat foreign patients. The clinic profile shows which languages are spoken. Under “Treatment in Croatia” you find clinics and services for patients from abroad.
Treatment in CroatiaDoes Prvi termin give medical advice?
No. Prvi termin is an information and intermediary platform, not a healthcare provider. Medical questions are answered by the clinic. In an emergency call 112.

For clinicsHow do you check that I represent the clinic?
After registration our team checks your details, for example via the clinic’s official e-mail address or phone number. After that you can edit the profile.
The details of my clinic are wrong. What can I do?

Compare packagesHow do I answer appointment requests?
Each request arrives by e-mail with a link to reply. Confirm the appointment with date and time, report that no slot is free at the moment, or decline, optionally with a message. The patient receives your reply automatically. You also see all requests in your clinic area.
Subscription, payment and invoices
How do I pay for a package?
By card via Stripe. The package is active immediately and renews automatically every month. Prefer bank transfer for a fixed period? Write to [email protected].
How do I cancel my subscription?
In your clinic area under “Payments and invoices”, click “Manage subscription” and cancel there. The package stays active until the end of the paid month, then the free basic profile applies again.
Can I switch between Premium and Premium Plus?
Yes, also under “Manage subscription”. The new package applies immediately, the new price from the next monthly billing.
Where can I find my invoices?
You receive an invoice by e-mail every month. You can also download all invoices as PDF in your clinic area under “Payments and invoices”.
Why is there no VAT on the invoice?
For clinics with a valid OIB we invoice under the reverse charge procedure: the clinic accounts for the VAT. To enable this, enter your OIB in the clinic profile.
My card payment failed. What now?
Stripe retries the payment. Update your card under “Manage subscription”. If the payment is not made, the package ends when the paid period expires.
What is a featured profile?
Your clinic appears at the top of the search results for 14 days. It is paid once and does not renew automatically.
