What is it and when is it done?
The speech therapy assessment evaluates speech, language, voice and swallowing: late speech, unclear pronunciation, stuttering, reading difficulties, hoarseness and speech after stroke.
How long does it take?
45–60 minutes.
How do I prepare?
For children: paediatrician's opinion and hearing test if available.
What happens afterwards?
Opinion with therapy recommendation.
Referral: No referral is needed for a private appointment. In the public system you need a referral from your family doctor.
