What is it and when is it done?
Laboratory tests: blood count, glucose, cholesterol, liver, kidneys, thyroid, vitamins, hormones, tumour markers, urine. Privately without referral, results the same day.
How long does it take?
Blood draw 5–10 minutes.
How do I prepare?
Fasting 10–12 hours for glucose and lipids. Morning urine in a sterile container.
What happens afterwards?
Most results the same day by e-mail.
Referral: No referral is needed for a private appointment. In the public system you need a referral from your family doctor.
