Private appointmentsAbout Dental crown
What is it and when is it done?
A crown covers a damaged or weakened tooth. Zirconia crowns are metal-free and most aesthetic; metal-ceramic is cheaper. Usually two visits: preparation and impression, then cementing.
How long does it take?
Two visits of 45–60 minutes, 5–10 days apart. Same-day with CAD/CAM.
How do I prepare?
The tooth must be treated first.
What happens afterwards?
Temporary crown between visits. Lasts 10–15 years or more.
