What is it and when is it done?
Pelvic CT shows pelvic bones, hips, bladder and pelvic organs. Done after injuries, for pelvic pain and tumour assessment, often with abdominal CT.
How long does it take?
10–20 minutes.
How do I prepare?
With contrast fasting 4 hours and creatinine test; sometimes a full bladder.
What happens afterwards?
Report in 1–3 working days.
